Funeral services for Elizabeth “Liz” Reynolds, 76, of Runaway Bay, Texas, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at First Methodist Church Bridgeport, with burial to follow at Eastside Cemetery. Visitation will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, one hour prior to the service, at the church. Pastor Rick Davis will officiate.
Pallbearers will include Dane Reynolds, Eli Reynolds, Erik Seaholm, Maclain Jobe, Gus Seaholm, Jr., Trey Seaholm, Colton Callaway, and Dillon Callaway.
Elizabeth “Liz” Ann (Seaholm) Reynolds was born on March 28, 1949, in Huntsville, Texas, to Gardner Axel and Nancy Ann (Juul) Seaholm, and went to be with our Lord on June 27, 2025, in Bridgeport, Texas.
On August 3, 1973, Liz married Bill Reynolds in Rosenberg, Texas. Together, they shared a life filled with love and laughter.
She devoted her career to the field of education, holding a Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of North Texas. Liz was an active member of her community, contributing her time to the Association of Texas Professional Educators, where her dedication to education extended beyond the classroom. She was also a cherished member of the First Methodist Church in Bridgeport, Texas, where she found joy in her faith and community involvement.
Liz had a deep commitment to her family, often attending every event her grandchildren participated in, whether it was basketball, football, motocross, or softball. Her enthusiasm for supporting her grandchildren's passions was well known and brought joy to many.
Her memory will live on in the hearts of those she influenced and inspired throughout her life. Liz will be deeply missed by her family, friends, former students, and all who had the privilege to know her.
Liz is preceded in death by her parents, Gardner and Nancy Seaholm of Eagle Lake, Texas.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Bill Reynolds; sons, Billy Edwin Reynolds Jr. and wife Jennifer of Colleyville, Texas, Gardner Allen Reynolds and wife Jennifer of San Angelo, Texas, and Ryan Scott Reynolds and wife Adrianne of Lavon, Texas; daughter, Denise Renea Callaway and husband Greg of Whitney, Texas; brothers, Gus Einer Seaholm of Eagle Lake, Texas, Gardner “Bud” Axel Seaholm, Jr., of Spring, Texas, and John Leonard Seaholm of San Antonio, Texas; grandchildren, Landry Kayte Reynolds, Dane Austin Reynolds, Eli Scott Reynolds, Emma Kate Reynolds, James Colton Callaway, and Dillon Hunter Callaway; and a host of friends.
