Elaine Coursey

Mary Elaine Coursey, 76, of Bridgeport, Texas passed away Monday, May 28, 2012, in Bridgeport. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, June 1, 2012, at Grace Fellowship Church in Paradise, Texas. Rick Cooper will officiate. Donations may be made to the Grace Fellowship Church or the American Diabetes Association. Elaine was born April 19, 1936 in Wichita, Kansas to Betty R. and Leon Larson. She moved to the Bridgeport area in April 1976. She was employed by the Bridgeport ISD and Decatur ISD. She was a member of various riding clubs and on the Board of Directors of the Bridgeport Library for twenty-two years. Elaine was a member of the Grace Fellowship Church. Elaine is survived by three sons: Lee Scott Coursey and wife Darla of Bridgeport, Keith Coursey and wife Roxann of Hattiesburg, Mississippi, and Chris Coursey and wife Tracy of Gatesville, Texas; daughter Joanna Garner and husband Mike of Ardmore, Oklahoma; sisters Helen Osborne of Santa Rosa, California and Shirley Fortner of Chula Vista, California; grandchildren Joshua, Jordan, Hannah, Joel, Ethan, Ian, Jill, Macie, Colten, Kaylyn, and Cayleigh; great-grandchildren Emily, Zane, and Kynnleigh; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents.
