Drew Roones

Drew Roones of Paradise died in Decatur June 1, 2015, just days after his 30th birthday. Services will be held at 1:00 pm, Friday, June 5 in the chapel at Jones Family Funeral Home in Bridgeport, officiated by Tom Merritt. Visitation will be Thursday, June 4 from 6-8 pm, also at Jones. Drew was born May 17, 1985 in Okinawa, Japan to Alfred and Sharon (Crum) Roones. He was an oilfield welder. Drew loved music, his charity work. and spending time with family. He was an avid adventurer who loved riding motorcylces, fishing and hunting. He leaves behind his father, Al H. Roones of Paradise, Texas; mother Sharon K. Roones of Peculiar, Missouri; brother Randy A. Roones of Effingham, Illinois; sister Heather N. Euler of Paradise; and grandmother Esther Crum of Altamont, Illinois. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Darrell Crum and Al H. Roones, Sr.; grandmother Faith Roones; and sister Elizabeth K. Roones Donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
