Dorris Jean Terrell

A graveside service for Dorris Jean Terrell, 86, of Chico will be at 11:00 am Thursday, January 5, 2017 at the Crafton Cemetery in Crafton, Texas, officiated by Bro. Tom Merritt. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 4 from 6-8 pm at Jones Family Funeral Home in Bridgeport. She passed away January 3 in Decatur. Dorris was born November 29, 1930 to W.W. (Bill) Collins and Minnie (Upton) Collins. She married R.O. (Odom) Terrell on September 3, 1948. Together they owned and operated Terrell Dairy. She attended Crafton Baptist Church. She is survived by sons Kent Terrell and wife Cammy, and Mitch Terrell and wife Janet; daughter Vicki Wiley; grandchildren Kim, Brian, Royce and wife Amber, Zach and wife Emma, and Tyler; great-grandchildren Shelby, Thomas, Layne and Hayden; and nieces, nephews and friends. Dorris was preceded in death by her husband, and son Lanny Terrell. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Crafton Cemetery.
