Donny Neal

Funeral services for Donny Neal, 52, of Chico, Texas, will be held at 3 pm Friday, April 7, 2023, at Hudson & Torres Family Funeral Home in Bridgeport, Texas, with burial to follow at Chico Cemetery. Visitation will be held at 2 pm, one hour prior to the service. Bishop T.M. Bigley will officiate. Donny passed away peacefully on April 2, 2023, in Bowie, Texas.

Pallbearers include Donald Neal, Jr., Jaccob Neal, Billy McMahon, Billy McMahon, III, Bradley Johns, and Zachary Whitmus.

Donny was born December 31, 1970, in Dallas, Texas, to Donald Ray Neal and Loretta Kaye (Johns) Harris. He was an avid sports fan. Donny especially loved watching his beloved teams, the Dallas Cowboys, Dallas Mavericks, and the Texas Rangers. When Donny wasn’t watching sports, he was playing with his grandchildren and spending valuable time with his family. He will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him.

Those left to cherish his memory are his grandfather Norman Neal; father Donald Ray Neal, and mother Loretta Kaye (Johns) Harris and husband D.L.; sons Donald Neal, Jr., and Jaccob Neal; daughter Valerie Neal; grandchildren Liam, Layken, Luka, Avery, and Amira; brother Tim Neal; sisters Stacie McMahon and husband Billy, and Dionna Neal; stepbrother Terry Harris and wife Pam; stepsisters Susan Harris, and Tina Thompson and husband Red; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Donny is preceded in death by grandparents J.C. and Willie Johns, and Naomi Neal.
