Del Pitts

Services for Del Bee Pitts, 58, of Paradise will be Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at Grace Fellowship Church in Paradise, officiated by Pastors Rocky Johnson and B.J. Rutledge. Burial will follow in Paradise Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, May 30 at Jones Family Funeral Home in Bridgeport, from 6-8 pm. Del died at home peacefully Thursday, May 26. Del was born January 13, 1958 in Altus, Oklahoma to Charlie Clifton and Marianna (Siwy) Pitts. He married Christine Barley April 8, 2000 in Fort Worth. He was a member of Grace Fellowship Church in Paradise. Del moved to the Bridgeport area in 1975. He was in the trucking industry for 41 years, and was owner/operator with Acord Transportation. He loved his job, and lived to be in his truck. He is survived by his wife Christi Pitts of Paradise; daughter Brandy Pitts of Dallas, Texas; son Jesse Wright of Fort Worth, Texas; siblings Charline Pitts of Garland, Texas, Sue Ellen and Jerry Oldfield of Mineola, Texas, Kay and Ric Boughner of Long Beach, Califonia, Charles and Cindy Pitts of Bridgeport, Mark Pitts of Dallas, and Kevin Guillot, also of Dallas; nephews and nieces Joey Pitts and Nathan Byers, both of Bridgeport, Debi Doty of Frisco, Texas, Jerry Bruce of Greenville, Texas, Tim Bruce of Royce City, Texas, and Shilo Pryor of Los Angeles, California. He was preceded in death by parents Charlie and Marianna Pitts.
