She was born in Chanute, Kansas to Larry and Sharon (Jones) Gillum.

Dawn is survived by husband Richard Keller of Alvord; daughter Mindy Keller and wife Jessica Carow of Alvord, son Justin Gillum and wife Lydia of Decatur; brother Wes Gillum; grandchildren Jayden Gillum, Makenna Gillum, and Laney Gillum.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
