Darlene Thompson

A graveside service for Lula Darlene Thompson, 42, of Silsbee, Texas will be 2:00 pm Saturday, April 8, 2017 at Thomas Cemetery in Bridgeport, Texas. Visitation will be 6-8 pm Friday, April 7 at Jones Family Funeral Home in Bridgeport. Darlene passed away Sunday, April 2 at home. Darlene was born March 1, 1975 in Decatur, Texas to Jerry Cordar and Linda Carpenter. She was a homemaker who enjoyed being outdoors, and particularly working in her vegetable garden. She also loved spending time with her family pet. She leaves behind her husband Alan Thompson; son James ‘Clint’ Cordar and wife Lacey; daughters Bethany Chastain, and Cheyenne Abreu and husband Alex; parents Linda Carpenter and husband Clarence; sisters Jerri Barnett, and Chanda Avery and husband Jay; grandchildren Lauralai Cordar, Avery Cordar, Malakai Abreu, and Jessi Cordar. Darlene was preceded in death by father Jerry Wayne Cordar, and grandparents James and Lula Romines, and Clarence and Alice Cordar.
