A graveside service for Danny Ray Town, 54, of Bridgeport, Texas will be 10:00 am Tuesday, September 25, 2018 in East Bridgeport Cemetery, officiated by Chaplain Brad Gilbert and Glen Canova. Pallbearers are Brent Bolin, Randy Smith, Bobby Starnes, Bryon Latham, Christopher Hankins, and Patrick Salisbury. Honorary pallbearers are Matt Moore, Tony Selby, Joe Arredondo, and Matthew Deering. Visitation will be Monday, September 24 from 6-8 pm at Jones Family Funeral Home in Bridgeport. He passed away Thursday, September 20 at home.
Danny was born July 26, 1964 in Cheyenne, Oklahoma to Donald Eugene and Margaret Ann (Heinsohn) Town until the family moved to Bridgeport in 1970. Danny was a pilot car escort for Trinity Industries for many years. He was an avid collector of Hot Wheel Cars, and loved to frequent the casinos. But above all he loved helping people, and spending time with his precious family and friends.
Danny leaves behind his mother Margaret Town of Bridgeport; wife Judy Anderson of Bridgeport; sisters Debbie King of Bridgeport, Jolene Skaggs of Amarillo, Texas; daughter Lisa Eckeberger and husband Jordan of Lewisville, Texas; grandsons Jace and Jayden Eckeberger; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father Donald Town, grandparents Perry and Edna Town, Ivan and Martha (Shelton) Heinsohn, brother Dale Town, six uncles, one aunt, and two cousins.
