Memorial services for Dana (Nard) Harris, 76, of Bridgeport, Texas, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 17, 2025, at Redeemer Church-Wise County in Bridgeport.
Dana Lynnette (Nard) Butler-Sexton-Kirkland-Harris was born September 25, 1948, in Bryan, Texas, to Reginald “Bob” and Dorothy (Jackson) Nard, and went to be with our Lord on April 29, 2025, in Bridgeport, Texas.
Dana was a beloved housewife and a talented beautician. She was a proud graduate of the Ogle School of Beauty and loved to use her skills to bless others. Dana was known for her generous spirit and often volunteered at local nursing homes, providing hair and nail services to residents, bringing joy and comfort to many.
Dana's gentle spirit and unwavering faith were evident in all that she did. As a faithful follower of the Lake Bridgeport First Baptist Church, she inspired many through her devotion and eagerness to spread the word of the Lord. Her passion for her faith was matched only by her love for her family, and she treasured every moment spent with her children and grandchildren, creating a legacy of love that will endure beyond her time.
Dana is preceded in death by her father, Reginald “Bob” Nard of Bridgeport; mother, Dorothy Nard Anderson of Bridgeport; sister, Joan (Nard) Rhine of Fort Worth; brother-in-law, Eddie Anderson of Bridgeport; and nephew, Jason Hamblin.
Those left to cherish Dana’s memory are her son, Rodney Butler and wife Gina of Mansfield; daughter, Della Leeann Sexton of Bridgeport; sister, Darla Anderson of Bridgeport; great-nephew, Michael Hamblin; great-niece, Autumn Hamblin; grandchildren, Mallory Butler of Lake Worth, Tori and Gabby Morales of Mansfield, Ehran and Travis Cheely of Azle, Rylie Cheely of Bridgeport; and nephew, Casey Hamblin.
