Curtis Dean Griffin, 71, of Decatur, Texas, passed away June 20, 2024. A memorial service will be planned at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to Hudson & Torres Family Funeral Home in Bridgeport. 

He was born December 31, 1952, to Arthur and Ramona Griffin in Wichita Falls, Texas. Curtis’ hobbies included gardening and cooking. He was also member of the First Baptist Church in Decatur. 

Curtis is survived by his sisters, Linda Griffin of Decatur, Texas, Sandy Wester of Decatur, Texas; nephews, Mark Wester of Decatur, Texas, Jordan Wester of Boerne, Texas; niece, Rebecca Bell of Gilbert, Arizona; great nieces, Peyton Wester, Harper Wester, and Addison Bell. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, A.C. and Ramona Griffin; grandparents, W.O and Juanita Griffin, Gus D. and Judy Cathey; aunt, Edith Mae French; cousin, Shirley Parkey; seven aunts; and three uncles.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to First Baptist Church of Decatur.
