Services for Christine Tharp will be held at 2:00 pm this Saturday, October 15, 2016 at the United Pentecostal Church in Bridgeport, officiated by Bro. Mike Wiltcher. Burial will be in Eternal Oaks Cemetery at Runaway Bay. Visitation will also be on Saturday from 10:00-2:00 before the service. She passed away Tuesday, October 11 in Decatur. She was born March 4, 1936 in Wichita Falls, Texas to Willie L. and Maggie (Abbott) Daniel. Christine worked for over ten years at Bridgeport High School as a para-professional, working with special needs children. She is survived by her husband of 34 years, John; her three children: J, Diane and Debbie; as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A gracious and giving soul, she will be greatly missed by her family, friends, and church family.
