It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Chera Nichols, age 34, who left this world far too soon.
She passed away surrounded by love, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, strength and spirit that touched all those she encountered.
She filled our lives with laughter and her contagious smile that filled a room when she walked in. She was born with a bright and compassionate heart as shown by her ability to make others feel seen, heard and valued. Whether through her warm smile, her generosity or her unwavering support for her family and friends. She brought light into even the most difficult days.
Her laughter, gentle presence and thoughtful nature will deeply be missed by all who knew her. She was proud of her family as well as her career being a dental assistant.
Her loved ones will always remember how she delighted in the little joys of life especially Mexican food, pickles, sour candy, anything spicy, and music (singing).
She leaves behind loved ones who will carry her memory forward with honor an affection. Though her impact was far too short, Chera’s impact endures in the lives she touched and the love she shared especially for her husband Shawn and her son Colt who she loved immensely.
Chera is survived by her devoted husband Shawn and their beloved son Colt Jameson; her cherished parents Billy and Kristie Claunch; her loving Brother Kyle (Trisha) and their children Maibelle and Magnus; her beloved Grandma Ruby; her Father and Mother-in-law, Steve and Ramona; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
In addition she leaves a large loving extended family, Sister-in-law Ryli (Sergio), Shane (Ashley), Slade (Jalei); nieces Kimber, Kengsley, Baby J; nephews Westyn and Weylen.
Though our hearts ache, we trust she is now rejoicing in Heaven, whole and restored surround by God’s perfect love.
She will not be forgotten and will forever be loved.
