Brandon Chad Whitaker, 54, of Runaway Bay, Texas passed away July 25, 2022. A private memorial service will be held at a later date at Jacksboro Cemetery.
He was born March 8, 1968, in Jacksboro, Texas to Danny Paul Whitaker and Sandra Whitaker Moody. He graduated from Jacksboro High School and then attended Cameron University. Chad’s hobbies included golfing, fishing and spending time with family and friends. He had a special love for his dogs.
Chad is survived by his parents; wife, Kim Browning; son, Danny Mack Whitaker & wife Chelsea; sister, Misty Williams; stepmother, Junis Whitaker; stepbrothers, Boyce Pate and wife Tasha, Travis Simons and wife Pam; stepsister, Chanda Tobin and husband, Steve; grandchildren, Laityn, Carsten, Christian, Cambree and Brody; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
He is preceded in death by brother, Kirby Whitaker; grandparents, Mack & Betty Fry; grandmother, Eloise Moore; and uncle Mickey Fry.
