Bobby E Potts

Bobby E Potts, 87, of Paradise passed away on Thursday May 4, 2017 in Decatur.

 Services for Bobby will be at 2:00 pm on Sunday May 7, in the chapel at Jones Family Funeral Home in Bridgeport, Barry Hogan will be officiating. Burial will take place at Paradise Cemetery. Visitation will also be Sunday at Jones beginning at 1:00pm, one hour prior to service.

Bobby was born on December 11, 1930 in Paradise, Texas to Joe and Anna (Atkins) Potts. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army and was a Firefighter in Fort Worth for most of his life, he was also a member of the First Christian Church, the Masonic Lodge, and a 50 year member of the Eastern Star. His hobbies were harvesting pecans, farming and working cattle.

He is survived by his daughters Debbie Potts, and Velerie Zarantonello, grandchildren Adam Lamb, and Kevin Largent, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Bobby is preceded in death by his wife Mary Potts three sisters and five brothers.
