Billy Ross Slimp

Billy Ross Slimp, 69, of Arlington, Texas, passed away November 27, in Denton, Texas. Graveside services will be December 11, at 2 PM, at the Cottondale Cemetery. Services are being handled by Jones Family Funeral Home-Decatur. Mr. Slimp was born October 26, 1947 in Boyd, Texas, to Taft and Cassie (Brown) Slimp. Billy retired from Lone Star Gas Company, and H & R Block. He loved to play bingo at WinStar and preparing taxes (not for the challenge, but for the people he could help). He loved his friends and family passionately! Billy is survived by his son Donnie Slimp, wife Stacy, and grandson Noah Slimp; sisters Louella Boyd of Coleman, Texas, and Cathy Chaney of Athens,Texas; many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, and two brothers- in- law.
