Graveside Services for Ann S. Logue, 82, of Decatur, Texas, will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at Sand Hill Cemetery in Decatur. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Monday, October 20, 2025, at Hudson & Torres Family Funeral Home in Bridgeport. Doctor Bill Hughes and Bro. William Brooks will be officiating.

Pallbearers will include David Sims, Danny Sims, Bobby Hughes, Mikey Garcia, Kenneth Lue, Trey Fernihough, Russell Sims, and David Slimp.

Ann (Arrington) Sims Logue was born on January 29, 1943, in Decatur, Texas, to Bob and Edda (Carr) Arrington, and went to be with the Lord on October 15, 2025, in Decatur, Texas.

Ann dedicated 28 years of her life to Bell Helicopter, where she made remarkable strides as the first female dispatching supervisor. She was proud of her professional achievements and was a trailblazer in her field.

A devoted member of Grace Baptist Church in Decatur, Ann spent much of her time volunteering for the Meal Ministry and participating in construction and renovation projects. She had a generous spirit and enjoyed helping others, often caring for family members and anyone in need.

In her leisure time, Ann found joy in woodworking and gardening, hobbies that allowed her to express her creativity and love for nature. Her hands were always busy, creating beautiful things and tending to her plants.

Ann is preceded in death by her husband, J.W. Logue and parents, Bob and Edda Arrington all of Decatur, Texas.

Those left to cherish Ann’s memory are her sons, David Sims and wife Sharon, and Danny Sims and wife Sharlene all of Decatur, Texas; daughter, KaSondra Hughes and husband Bobby of Decatur, Texas; grandchildren, Breanne Fernihough and husband Trey of Decatur, Texas, Russell Sims and wife Kara of Paradise, Texas, Courtney Lue and husband Kenneth of Decatur, Texas, Chelsea Garcia and husband Mikey of Runaway Bay, Texas, and Brandy Kelly and husband Dan Jr., of Aurora, Texas; great-grandchildren, Madelyn Fernihough of Decatur, Texas, Kayden and Khloe Bates of Paradise, Texas, Bailee and Avery Sims of Krum, Texas, Stella and Collette Lue of Decatur, Texas, Blaze and Cambria Garcia of Runaway Bay, Texas, Lauren Kelly of Colorado, Zachary Kelly of Aurora, Texas, Catherine Robinson and husband Brandon of Keller, Texas, Nicholas Kelly of Fort Worth, Texas, William Kelly of Michigan, and Lilly, Emma, Madelyn, Nathanial and Charlotte Kelly all of Aurora, Texas; best friend, (but more like a sister) Joyce Whalen of Brackettville, Texas; and a host of friends.
