Alberto Espinosa

Funeral services for Alberto Espinosa, 91, of Bridgeport, Texas, will be held at 5 pm Sunday, July 9, 2023, at Hudson & Torres Family Funeral Home in Bridgeport, with burial to follow at Eastside Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 3-5 pm Sunday, two hours prior to the service, with a rosary beginning at 4 pm.

Alberto Espinosa, a dedicated and hardworking individual, passed away on July 4, 2023, in Decatur, Texas. He was born on April 8, 1932, in Cloete, Coahuila Mexico, to Isidoro and Rosa (Cardenas) Espinosa. Alberto led a remarkable life; filled with resilience and determination.

Throughout his impressive career, Alberto devoted an astounding 64 years of his life to Acme Brick; his unwavering commitment and passion for his work made him an invaluable asset to the company. Alberto’s dedication served as an inspiration to all those fortunate enough to have worked alongside him; his strong work ethic served as a shining example to others. Alberto's genuine warmth and compassion extended beyond the workplace and into his personal life. He leaves behind a legacy built on integrity, diligence, and perseverance. Alberto’s commitment to his work and his unwavering love for his family will forever be remembered.

He will be deeply missed by his sons Alberto R. Espinosa, Frank Espinosa and wife Lorena, and Gilbert Espinosa and wife Brittany; daughter Leticia E. Gutierrez and husband Tony; brother Juan Espinosa; sister Margarita Cardenas; grandchildren Viviana and Victoria Espinosa, and Isabel, Ana, and Joseph Gutierrez. Alberto's passing has left an indescribable void in their lives that can never be filled.

Alberto was predeceased by his parents; wife of 52 years; Maria Espinosa; and sisters Eusebia Espinosa and Maria Luisa Padilla. The memories of Alberto will forever remain etched in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him.
